General Voucher Terms and Conditions

These General Voucher Terms and Conditions ("General Terms") govern the use of all service vouchers ("Vouchers") issued by Honest Tech Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By presenting or attempting to redeem any Voucher, the holder ("you," "your," "client") agrees to be bound by these General Terms and any applicable Specific Voucher Terms outlined below or printed on the Voucher itself. A. GENERAL TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL VOUCHERS

A.1. Official Seal & Validity: Vouchers are valid only if they bear the official Honest Tech Services company seal or an authentic company stamp. Any Voucher that is altered, copied, defaced, or duplicated is void and will not be honored.

A.2. Presentation of Voucher: The original physical Voucher or an official digital version thereof must be presented at the time of booking the service, prior to the commencement of service, at the time of checkout, or when an invoice for the relevant service is presented, unless otherwise specified in the Specific Voucher Terms. Failure to present a valid Voucher as required may result in the inability to redeem the offer.

A.3. No Cash Value: Vouchers have no monetary or cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any cash equivalent. Vouchers are not gift certificates.

A.4. Non-Transferable: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the Voucher itself or permitted in writing by Honest Tech Services, Vouchers are strictly non-transferable and may only be used by the client group specified in the Specific Voucher Terms (Section B or C below) or as designated on the Voucher. Any unauthorized attempt to transfer, sell, or barter a Voucher will render it immediately void.

A.5. Not Valid for Prior Services or Purchases: Vouchers cannot be applied retroactively to services already rendered, services booked or paid for prior to the Voucher's valid issuance date, or to settle outstanding balances on accounts.

A.6. Cannot Be Combined with Other Offers: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by Honest Tech Services or on the Voucher itself, a Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, discounts, promotions, coupons, or special pricing programs offered by the Company. Only one Voucher may be applied per eligible service or contract, as specified.

A.7. Expiration Date: Each Voucher will have a unique expiration date clearly printed on it. The Voucher is valid for use only up to and including this printed expiration date. It is the sole responsibility of the Voucher holder to be aware of and adhere to this expiration date. Expired Vouchers will not be honored or extended under any circumstances.

A.8. Service Area Limitations: Services provided in conjunction with a Voucher are subject to availability within Honest Tech Services' officially designated service area, defined as locations within a 25-mile radius of Eureka, California. Service requests for locations outside this defined area may be declined or may be subject to additional travel fees, which are not covered by the Voucher.

A.9. Subject to Availability and Scheduling: All services are subject to the availability of Honest Tech Services personnel and are contingent upon scheduling feasibility. Booking services in advance is strongly recommended. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate preferred appointment times, they are not guaranteed.

A.10. Right to Decline or Terminate Service: Honest Tech Services reserves the absolute right to decline to provide service or to terminate service to any individual or for any request that is deemed, in our sole discretion, to be outside the scope of our standard service offerings, if a safe, respectful, and reasonable working environment cannot be ensured, or if there is any suspicion of fraud, misuse, or abuse of the Voucher offer.

A.11. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Vouchers: Honest Tech Services assumes no responsibility or liability for Vouchers that are lost, stolen, damaged, misplaced, or used without authorization. Lost, stolen, or damaged Vouchers will not be replaced, reissued, or honored. Clients are advised to treat Vouchers with the same care as cash.

A.12. Modification, Suspension, or Cancellation of Offer: Honest Tech Services reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any Voucher offer, these General Terms, and/or any Specific Voucher Terms at any time, without prior notice, at its sole and absolute discretion. Any such changes will become effective immediately upon their posting on the official Company website at HonestTechServices.com/voucher-terms. Vouchers issued prior to any such modification, suspension, or cancellation will generally be honored according to the terms in effect at the time of their issuance, provided there is no evidence of fraud or abuse, and unless such modification is necessitated by legal or regulatory requirements.

A.13. Governing Law: These General Terms and all matters arising out of or relating to the Vouchers shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

A.14. Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, any Voucher, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, shall be resolved by mediation.

A.15. Severability: If any provision of these General Terms or any Specific Voucher Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms will continue in full force and effect.

A.16. Entire Agreement: These General Terms, together with any applicable Specific Voucher Terms (Sections B and C below) and any terms and conditions printed on the Voucher itself, constitute the sole and entire agreement between the Voucher holder and Honest Tech Services with respect to the subject matter contained herein and therein, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to such subject matter.

A.17. Consumer Rights: These Terms and Conditions do not affect any statutory rights that you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

B. SPECIFIC TERMS: MANAGED SERVICES VOUCHERS (FOR NEW CLIENTS)

B.1. Eligibility: Managed Services Vouchers are exclusively valid for new clients. A "new client" is defined as an individual, household, or business entity that has not previously entered into any service agreement or received any paid services (including individual service calls or managed services contracts) from Honest Tech Services. Determination of new client status is at the sole discretion of Honest Tech Services.

B.2. Applicable Services: These Vouchers are specifically applicable as a discount or special offer related to the initial term of new 6-month, 12-month, or 24-month Managed Services contracts, as explicitly stated on the Voucher. The precise nature of the discount (e.g., a percentage off the first term's fees, a fixed monetary amount off the total initial contract value) will be clearly detailed on the Voucher.

B.3. Redemption: Only one (1) Managed Services Voucher may be redeemed per new client for one (1) new Managed Services contract. The Voucher must be presented and formally applied at the time of signing the Managed Services contract documentation.

B.4. Contractual Agreement Prevails: The use of a Managed Services Voucher necessitates entering into a formal Managed Services Agreement with Honest Tech Services. The terms and conditions of said Managed Services Agreement are separate and distinct from these Voucher terms and will govern all aspects of service delivery, payment obligations (beyond the initial Voucher discount), service level agreements, contract duration, and cancellation policies. The Voucher discount applies only as specified, and all other terms of the Managed Services Agreement remain in full force.

B.5. Scope of Discount: The value or discount provided by the Managed Services Voucher applies solely to the contracted managed service fees for the initial term as specified. It does not cover, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the Voucher, any initial setup fees, costs for hardware or software procurement, licensing fees, third-party service costs, or any work deemed out-of-scope under the Managed Services Agreement.

C. SPECIFIC TERMS: DISCOUNT SERVICE VOUCHERS (FOR NEW & EXISTING CLIENTS)

C.1. Eligibility: Discount Service Vouchers may be utilized by both new and existing clients of Honest Tech Services, unless a more restrictive eligibility criterion (e.g., "New Clients Only" or "Existing Clients Only") is expressly printed on the Voucher itself.

C.2. Applicable Services & Limitations:

  • These Vouchers apply exclusively to service labor costs incurred for on-site or remote services rendered directly by Honest Tech Services personnel.

  • Vouchers do not apply to, and cannot be used to discount, the cost of any hardware, computer parts, peripheral components, software (including new licenses or upgrades), or any third-party products or services that may be recommended, sold, or utilized in the course of the service. Clients remain fully responsible for the entire cost of such items.

  • The specific nature of the discount (e.g., a percentage off eligible labor charges, a fixed monetary amount off eligible labor charges) will be clearly detailed on the Voucher.

C.3. Redemption: Generally, one (1) Discount Service Voucher may be redeemed per distinct service call, per service incident, or per defined project, as determined by Honest Tech Services in its reasonable discretion at the time of service. The Voucher must be presented prior to service completion, at the time of checkout, or when an invoice for the relevant service is presented.

C.4. Minimum Charges: If Honest Tech Services implements a minimum service charge or a standard diagnostic fee for service calls, the Voucher discount will be applied to the eligible labor portion of the total charge. The standard minimum charge or diagnostic fee may still apply if the discounted labor amount falls below this threshold, or as otherwise specified on the Voucher or by the Company's prevailing pricing policies.
